Earth to Lindsay Lohan

After much anticipation, I recieved my new digital camera in the mail. The Canon SD550 is working beautifully and I couldn’t be more content. Here are a few examples of my happiness:

I suppose this means that I should join flickr and flood it with with psuedo-artistic pictures. Consider it done!

I have a 5 page paper on the Cuban Revolution due tonight and I’ve only just started the introduction (this is without having read the book, of course). More pressing matters are distracting me from my assignments and so I will address them here in the hopes that I can regain my focus. I recently watched Lindsay Lohan’s video for “Daughter to Father” and I am struck with only one sentiment: Why won’t God just let Lindsay Lohan be happy?

Kelly Clarkson and Lohan, both vying for the position of being the most jaded, have competing melodramatic music videos. Clarkson, for the most part, keeps her composure and even attempts to end the video on a happier note (end the cycle of domestic violence! Hooray!). On the other hand, Lohan in a vomit-inducing prom dress, bangs on the bathroom door wildly while her parents fight in the next room. Why is Daddy such a jerk? I know, maybe God just hates rich white girls.

Since Lohan is waiting for the postman to bring her a letter, I decided to write her one and it goes something like this:

Dear Lindsay,
If you are as annoying in your personal life as you are on TV and in the movies, I would also turn into a drug addict and an alchoholic. Cut your Dad some slack.

Love,
Mari

P.S. Stop singing.

Your new camera takes good pictures, very vivid colors. Yes, I think you should start doing psuedo-artistic pictures, if there’s one thing the world needs, it’s more psuedo-artistic pictures.

Hey, when you send your letter to Lindsey please include mine:

    Dear Lindsey,
If you don’t enjoy the fortune you have made from of the steaming turd that is your career, you could always send it to me.
    (The money, not the turd)

Hey, congratulations on the camera. Please to be showing off your art skilzz as much as possible.

Also, Lindsey Lohan sings now? When did that happen? This just doesn’t feel like my dimension anymore.

    :(

Oooh, yay! You now have a domain and a camera!

And, yes, That would be a great letter to send to her. Include some pictures of her that people drew mustaches and unibrows on, and it’d be a great care package. XD

Btw, I just had to link you on my blog (http://oyasumi.ohayou-morning.net). Awesome site.

LOL! I love your letter to Lindsay Lohan!!! She *needs* to quit singing! And Disney needs to quit churning out such puke!

PS: Love your new theme! ^_^

You know, that was really mean about Lindsey Lohan. Her dad was really like that and he went to rehab for it. I would be devistated if my dad did that. Music is a form of art and she’s just expressing her feelings. And when it all comes down to it, she deserves more credit for not sitting on her ass all day on computers like the lonley common people such as ouselves with nothing more to do but to post mean comments about people we know nothing about except for the wonderful half non truth that the tabloids decide to feed into our already rotting brains. Maybe whats wrong with this world isn’t lindsey, maybe its the people who judge others.

    great pics btw. nice camera.

Yes, Kari, you’re right. I was too hard on Lindsay (spelled with an A, if you’ll do her the honor) Lohan and the fact that she’s making millions of dollars off a crummy song about substance abuse and domestic violence. I hope, one day, she’ll come to forgive me.

By the way, I happen to like sitting on my ass all day on the computer. It’s why I wake up in the morning.

And thank you, the camera cost me an arm, a leg and my soul which is why I’m so heartless in my entries. Try not to take me too seriously next time.
