You Mean I’m Supposed to Sodomize the Turkey?

This is my first Thanksgiving without adult supervision of any kind and I am determined to make it an extraordinary event that will make Martha Stuart blush. I have never cooked a whole turkey before and what better time to screw it up than during the holidays. I’ve marked the items that I’m responsible for making with an asterik (notice how I am surprisingly in charge of all the main dishes); feel sorry for me. Below you will find a tentative menu to feed approximately 7 hungry lunatics.

Appetizers:
*Stuffed Mushrooms IV

Main Dishes:
*Easy Herb Roasted Turkey
*Honey Baked Ham
*Turkey Breast from Honey Baked Ham (Backup, just in case I blow up the main entrée)

Sides:
Mac & Cheese
Polish Potato Salad
White Rice

Drinks:
Wine
*Aileen’s Punch

Desserts:
Chocolate Cheesecake

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Goodluck with the making of the meal! My cousin is preparing turkey day this year, and she has been running around all week! It’s definitely a hard job, but once you get to sit down and eat it, it will be worth it. I cannot wait for turkey day, it’s my fav food holiday.

That’s a tremendous load of food for one person to be in charge off. Couldn’t you just, I don’t know, order all that stuff in and have it delivered to the back door?

That’s what I’d do. But then, I am teh suck at cooking. Good luck!
