I Have Only One Christmas Wish
I really wish the manufacturers of candy canes would finally wrap their delicious treats in something less transparent so that I can stop injesting plastic by accident.

Did you realy swallow some?
Kari (December 20, 2005, 11:17 pm).
lol! i did that the other day in Geometry! omg! lol, I “thought” the wrapper was off until I relized as I was sucking the delicous little cane that I couldn’t taste anything….i was like….odd…and then bam! it hit me. You didn’t take the seemingly invisible wrapper off. I hope it give the candy cane companies some laughs….

That’s a good wish. I have a simliar request to the company that makes Slim Jims. They make those mofos way too hard to open.
Kisla (December 21, 2005, 9:16 pm).
*lol* well said! Or just so that they can make candy cane wrapping easier to get off! I always have a hard time with those things
Amanda (December 21, 2005, 10:25 pm).
I agree with that. I especially hate when it gets stuck in my teeth.
Elise (December 22, 2005, 4:05 am).
I do that sometimes…not the tastiest thing in the world.
Melissa (December 23, 2005, 2:12 pm).
lol I must be a weirdo cuz I could care less if I swallow a little plastic. Now if it was a whole gob then I’d be a little frustrated. Then again I’m so hungry right now I’d probably eat the candy cane while it’s still wrapped lmao
If you like peppermint candycanes you should try Bogdon’s Old Fashioned Peppermint Sticks. They dip them in dark chocolate.. soo good. They’re peppermint is a bit strong but it’s worth it *nods*
*hands you a candycane and a special plastic remover tool* Merry Christmas hun
Mariana (December 23, 2005, 11:20 pm).
Merry Christmas, Mari!

LMFAO! For me, it’s quite hard to NOT see the plastic since whenever I get them, they’re always falling apart that the wrapping is always screwed up xD Well, happy holidays ^_^
Amanda (December 25, 2005, 11:21 pm).
Eh, I always do that =P
EricaM (December 26, 2005, 7:23 pm).
Hey there!!!
It is me erica from the martni-lounge, can you please email me, thanks
Natalie (xposure) (December 26, 2005, 10:52 pm).
That is a good one. I always swallow a piece of wrapper too.
Angela (December 27, 2005, 7:24 pm).
Ha ha… but they’re filled with so much protein!!!
Aneesah (December 29, 2005, 4:09 am).
Eww, plastic does not sound tasty. Or safe, for that matter. Except — I do remember some kids saying (when I was little) that a type of chewing gum had edible plastic wrapping… I’ve never come across that chewing gum, but it sounded interesting.
But say, if they wrap candy canes in something not transparent, they can’t show off the nice stripes and the fact that it is a candy cane.
Rovie (December 30, 2005, 2:44 am).
Yeah i would say so. They are hard to remove too.
Cathryn (January 4, 2006, 5:15 am).
But then… the candy canes would look either centuries old (transparent yellow), toxic (transparent green), or simply not appealing enough to eat~
Happy New Year Mari!!! (luff the layout!)
Yvonne (January 4, 2006, 9:23 pm).
Silly. XD
Kelly (January 5, 2006, 4:43 pm).
ha, that one really cracked me up! It’s true, though! You can never get the thing out of the wrapper, and before you know it you are eating a new food group of plastic :p Happy ’06!
Jakey (January 8, 2006, 4:05 pm).
