I know you haven’t been by in a while which means you haven’t noticed that my site is having some kind of stroke. If it isn’t loading properly for you, I’m sorry because you are really missing out. I also haven’t posted in a few days because I was celebrating the birth of FREEDOM in the blessed (two syllables!) nation of America throughout the entire weekend by watching things blow up. In the midst of all this ringing of the freedom, I managed to wish my boyfriend a happy anniversary and am very pleased that he has liked me for four consecutive years.
I haven’t so much as glanced at my class syllabi for the past 5 days and am pretty sure something extremely important is due very soon but I don’t really have it in me to figure out what it is.
I recently purchased a Nintendo DS Lite from Costco.com. This is my first handheld gaming console purchase and I’ve been yearning to get my hands on the sleek little number since I placed my order this past Sunday. I’ve already gone ahead and traded in a few of my PS2 games that I never play anymore for some store credit. I’ve purchased Brain Academy and Sprung; two games that have tickled my fancy. Being too earnest to wait for my DS Lite, I decided to preview my games on a friend’s old, clunky DS. I’ve yet to play Brain Age which is currently at the top of every best seller list (when will this ridiculous Suduko craze ever end?), so I can only speak for the 15 minutes that I played on Brain Academy. It’s entertaining and enlightening. Especially when my Brain Academy results estimated that I’m basically retarded, my brain weight coming in at a measly 550 grams. According to the suspiciously phallic-looking mascot, an average human brain should weigh around 770 grams. I guess this explains why I’m willing to anxiously wait 7-10 days for my DS Lite when I could have just bought one at the store. But the accessories bundle! I need the screen protector!

I give you a month before you’re on your knees begging me to take your DS Lite off your hands, for free even.

I’d like to see a picture of the mascot, I’m intrigued!
Actually I kinda like those sudoku puzzles, they’re about the only thing that keeps my brain from going into atrophy in the summer months.

You got a DS when you could’ve gotten a PSP?
For shame…:)

No you didn’t! I’ve been wanting to get a DS for a very long time! But my dad is being extremely stubborn about it ever since I accidentally blurted out that the reason that I want a DS is so that I could entertain myself during lectures. I’ve never liked Sudoku. I tried playing it once, and I found it so boring. I don’t understand why so many people are addicted to it.
