This is What I’m Doing When I Should Be Learning
To read what I was supposed to post 3 days ago, please proceed.
I don’t know what Hugh Jackman is doing in this screenshot of the film The Prestige nor do I care. All I remember is clicking on a link to the trailer and upon reading the two headlining actors for the film, I promptly passed out. Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. Now I’m 100% that there is a God and He has personally arranged a perfectly divine duo that I have dubbed as The Juggernauts of Sex and Talent. They are unstoppable and impervious to skeptical criticism. Sometimes the world revolves so perfectly that it makes wonderful, miraculous occurances like the casting of The Prestige possible.
The welcome that Jackman recieved for his role as Wolverine was the cue that Hollywood was waiting for to start releasing an onslaught of Jackman films: The Fountain, Scoop, Happy Feet, and Flushed Away. He is essentially our new Mel Gibson and deservedly so. The charming Aussie can sing, dance, act and is arguably more handsome than our aging Lethal Weapon star. If Hugh Jackman is riding on a high horse with a hidden religious agenda, he doesn’t let his audience know it.
Expect a real entry sometime soon. I’m finishing up my summer semester, aren’t you excited? Yeah, I can tell.
Lastly, listen to The World Saxophone Quartet who make a great song out of a great tragedy (about 4 minutes into the song, be patient!).

i have been a fan of Christian Bale since seeing him in Little Women… when I was like, 12. Wolverine, on the otherhand, has been a lifelong love.

I hope this post is impervious to skeptical criticism too. Something tells me it needs to be. Is there an Elvis convention in town this weekend? Someone better lock the doors.

*LOL* I love that drawing.
Christian Bale….like the previous commenter I’ve also been a fan since Little Women, and him and Hugh Jackman together is just perfection…I can’t wait.

I’m so looking forward to this movie. I love both Bale and Jackman’s acting skills (and their looks too) and fell in love with this movie. At least I’m not the only one looking forward to it!
