Plot Details are Important to Me

If you’re a fan of Heroes and you’ve watched the show since the first episode, I’m sure you were stunned by Nathan’s dramatic arrival just before his younger brother went nuclear and I’m sure you were touched by his final show of bravery as he whips Peter up into the sky before it all went kablammo. But were you also dumbfounded that nobody bothered to make sure that Sylar was permanently dead and instead, allowed him to slip unnoticed into a sewer? Or that Peter could’ve just absorbed Nathan’s ability to fly on his own? Has anyone figured out why Matt Parkman, possibly the show’s most useless and annoying character, is still alive (although I was really relieved to see him eat it when he attempted to face down Sylar on his own)?

However, if the show remains true to comic book form, superheroes–er, excuse me, people with extraordinary abilities rarely get to die just once. Perhaps we’ll get to see Nathan and his sissy-yet-attractive younger brother in season two.

Over the weekend, my mother offered me an old, white dresser and suggested that a fresh coat of paint could revive it. I was skeptical, but two coats of brown paint and new pull knobs transformed the dresser into a piece that fit right in with my Asian inspired bedroom. And yes, that is a pair of panty hose on the floor. Don’t judge me.

Nice though I think my asian inspired bedroom has yours beat!

Doubtful.

I haven’t watched the last 3 episodes of Heroes yet. :(

The dresser looks gorgeous. Funny what a layer of paint can do. ;)

Shari, surprising isn’t it? I may have gotten even a deeper, richer color had I sanded the dresser down before applying paint but I didn’t have time or the motivation. Still, I think it worked out!

Love the dresser! It looks much better as a brunette.

As for Heroes

It cut off my comment. Eeeee. Anyhow, as I said. As far as I’ve observed Peter can only use one power at a time. I could be wrong though. Sylar disappearing bothered me as well. Oddly, what bothers me most is the disappearance of the Haitian from the last few episodes. It’s almost as if they forgot a perfectly interesting character.

Haitians are like that Vanessa, they blog for a while then disappear, return then disappear again.

Good point, Vanessa, I never considered he could only use one power at a time. That make sense to me now.

But that’s a good question, where DID that Haitian go.

The dresser looks so beautiful now. I like it much more like this!

Thanks, Sleeper. So do I! It really adds a new element to the room and it makes it seem bigger (I had a larger dresser with a mirror before).

The Haitian probably had finals and couldn’t be bothered with the rest of life ;).

Or maybe the Haitian was like “I’ve been working for fifteen years, and things are getting weird. Time for a vacation.”
