Love at First Sight
Meet Elwood, my 4 month old Border Collie pup (the smooth coat variety). He can sit, stay, come when called and steal my heart completely. A Border Collie by the name of Betsy is featured on the March 2008 issue of National Geographic. Betsy knows 350 words and can identify objects simply by looking at a Polaroid. I have very high expectations for Elwood.

OK, I don’t even like dogs and this is the cutest thing I’ve seen all day. I’ve only been awake two hours, but you know.
If I had a Border Collie I would teach it to use the toilet. That’s all I ask.

Anna, to tell you the truth, I wasn’t much a dog lover myself but I started searching for a puppy for months. I tried adopting and buying, but none of them panned out. Elwood is such a smart, sweet pup. He’s quiet, pretty calm and so loving! He thinks he’s a lapdog, hah!

I have a border collie mix. She is just smart enough to be trouble not smart enough to help around the house.

alisa, ah, all dogs can be like that, I think. Elwood is a smart puppy but has some annoying tendencies I’m trying to eliminated (like pulling on the leash during long walks!)
