Suki, Ismoyo’s fabulous hand-made creation, made her first stop to Orlando, FL this past Tuesday to start her journey all over the world.
On her first day, I decided to keep her in my Peruvian sack while we went on a brisk walk around my neighborhood. She got to see the vast expanses of typical Floridian golf courses (along with impatient golfers waiting until we finished with our photoshoot) and the serene, albeit man-made, waterways along the sidewalk. It was a positively gorgeous day-sunshine, breeze and blooming flowers.
During our long walk, we spotted an interesting looking house–a ferry boat house, complete with slowly rotating propellers. Apparently, the ferry boat was actually a welcome station to what used to be a miniature golf course but, once the put-put course went out of the business, the owner decided to transform it into a house!
I’m hoping Suki and I can enjoy a weekend of fabulous weather as we head over to the heart of downtown Orlando for some sightseeing and later an Easter family brunch. Where will Suki head next? That’s up to you! If you’d like to take in Suki as your short-term guest and help fill up her passport, please let me know and I’d be happy to send her your way! She’s eager to see her next destination and I promise, she’s a very gracious house guest.

Hi,
I would love to have Suki come stay with me up here in the Pacific North West. I know we are in the same country but I am all the way on the other side. Maybe I’ll even take Suki on a drive up north to Canada if she decides to stay with me.
Lovely photos and great adventure!

Hi there!
I hope it’s not too late in Suki’s travels for her to maybe jet set to come and stay in London for a little while with me? I’d love to show her the sites, eat crumpets together and just give her a great holiday. [:
Her story is so lovely and the photos are really gorgeous. Best of luck to her and you!
Kitty.

Hope you’ll find someone sweet to send her to next. If not, there was a Sarah from Australia who mentioned on my blog she wanted to take her in maybe.
But you have kind readers too, right?
