Allow Me to Explain

There’s an influx of Twitter blost posts I’ll admit – I had originally intended them to serve as a “link round up” of sorts but it’s sort of taken over my daily posts. I used to be anti-Twitter but now I can’t get enough of it – it fits my scattered brained style of thinking.

The reason for the few and far between blog posts is that I’m now working two jobs – a fulltime and a part-time during the evenings. This leaves me with very little time to cook and bake and even less time to blog about it – on top of that, I’m sorting through a renewed sense of purpose and responsibility. Let me tell you about it.

Wait for it:

I’m thinking about returning to school for a Master’s in Hospitality and Management. I know, I’ve mentioned plenty of times before how I have absolutely zero desire to return to school and I was telling the truth – but I was also trying to take classes in disciplines that didn’t appeal to me anymore (English, Business, International Affairs etc).  I considered going to culinary school but knew I didn’t have the dedication or the endurance to cook hundreds of meals or prepare pastries while standing for hours at a time. I would get bored and I would get frustrated and never want to set foot in a kitchen again.

I’m confident, though, that I’ll actually enjoy this field and make something of it – it pretty much incorporates my passions of food with public relations. Ultimately, I’d like to become an event planner for a non-profit organization, possibly in fundraising. First things first: the GRE.
