Universal Principles of Food

2MC1st Jul 2009The Daily Nonsense, ,

I had to share this intriguing little talk on universal principles of food and it’s larger application on how we approach science and life. Gladwell explains

“…when we pursue universal principles in food, we aren’t just making an error, we are actually doing ourselves a massive disservice.”

Who knew a study on Prego could teach us so much?! So, remember, my fellow home cooks and self-taught chefs, there is no perfect recipe or perfect dish – there are only perfect recipes and perfect dishes.

What do you think? Are 42 different types of Ragu destroying our food culture or improving it?
